Brassai took up his name in the town of his birth heavily inspired by the court of count Dracula he started hi career one night as he was doing his nightly walks he decided to carry a camera with him and he took some long exposures of the surrounding landscape his interest in photography grew when he saw the works of his acquaintance Andre kertesz who he later accreted as one of his biggest inspirations Brassai is known for his dark photos he is known for shooting in small bars and bistros and using a wide variety of different objects and people as subjects my inspiration from Brassai came from the way he took long exposures of the landscape and how he set his photos up in a way that nothing changed when he took his pictures but yet they all are slightly messy in a way that adds depth to the way you look at them
